SAP and a United Arab Emirates-based university will collaborate to educate students on business software applications through problem-solving exercises, technology demonstrations and research activities, The Gulf Today reported Tuesday.
Ajman University for Science and Technology joined an SAP alliance program designed to give academic institutions access to the company’s enterprise-grade software portfolio for training purposes, according to the article.
The SAP-backed University Alliances Program aims to help students understand how technology can help organizations manage accounting, human resources, sales, project management tasks, the report states.
“Our UAP will also provide faculty members with the tools and resources to illustrate how state of the art technologies can enable integrated business processes and strategic thinking,” Qais Gharaibeh, SAP MENA managing director in the UAE, told the publication.
SAP has 52 university partners throughout the Middle East and North Africa, according to the report.
