analyticsSAP Labs India will continue working with India’s National Entrepreneurship Network for the second consecutive year with a goal to train 30 mentors that will then train another 120 up-and-coming entrepreneurs on business management, CIOL reported Friday.

SAP and NEN were able to teach 38 mentors, who then taught 72 entrepreneurs across the country, during the pilot year of the program in 2013, the report said.

K. Srikrishna, executive director at the National Entrepreneurship Network, said in the report that emerging entrepreneurs will help the country meet economic goals.

“The National Entrepreneurship Network’s goal, through collaborations with SAP, is to inspire, educate and support this breed of entrepreneurs by providing mentorship, knowledge, skill building and access to capital and technology needed to succeed,” Srikrishna added.

SAP executives have also helped train people from Involute Automation through the Involute Institute of Technical Training and worked with senior leadership of hospital network Vaatsalya, according to the report.

SAP and NEN aim to mentor at least five to seven emerging companies in 2014 and to provide the businesses with technological solutions, CIOL reports.
