NTT Communications has moved to deploy Oracle’s engineered systems and in-memory products on its network monitoring system offering in an effort to grow NTT’s network traffic and data analysis technologies.
Oracle’s Exalogic Elastic Cloud, Exadata Database Machine, Coherence and Event Processing systems have been integrated into NTT Communications’ network and predictive failure detection services, Oracle said Wednesday.
Tetsuya Funabashi, a senior vice president at NTT Communications, said the company intends for Oracle’s engineered systems to expand technologies for predicting potential failures and running workloads.
The Exalogic, Coherence, WebLogic Server and Event Processing systems are built to process network traffic and the Application Development Framework aims to develop dashboard screens for viewing network status.
Oracle’s Exadata technology also works to handle large volumes of data at the back-end.
