Northrop Grumman Corp. will provide identity and access management tools for clients through CA Technologies‘ cloud software programs.
Northrop said it will use the CA CloudMinder software-as-a-service to extend its cloud-based services for healthcare, civil government and state customers., Northrop Grumman said Tuesday.
“Protecting the security and privacy of our clients’ information is a top concern for Northrop Grumman. Providing the right access to the right information is also particularly important in the health IT market,” said Amy Caro, vice president of health IT programs for Northrop Grumman.
CA CloudMinder features user management and access request systems, authentication and single sign-on for cloud-based and on-premise applications.
Mike Denning, CA senior vice president and general manager of security services, said the partnership aims to help government customers bolster security, mitigate risk and fulfill cybersecurity requirements.
Users are able to access any application using a single password through identity federation and single sign-on technologies.
