Autonomic Resources has become an official supporter of a non-profit coalition of technology companies and industry groups that provide information on cloud computing to lawmakers and the public.
As a silver supporter of the Cloud Computing Caucus Advisory Group, Autonomic Resources will help fund the Cloud Computing Caucus Advisory Group to promote understanding of the federal IT landscape, the company announced Tuesday.
The funding will also help contribute to imperative research and initiatives to promote using cloud in the public sector.
“We believe the Cloud Computing Caucus Advisory Group has the proper mission and structure to allow for non-biased input around cloud computing,” said John Keese, CEO and president of Autonomic Resources.
“The caucus should allow our collective US government customers to better understand cloud computing; its advantages and challenges.”
Further, Autonomic will participate at the coalition’s first meeting, scheduled for Feb. 27 on Capitol Hill.
