John Chiaramonte, MCP - ExecutiveMosaicJohn Chiaramonte has joined Mission Critical Partners as a senior program manager, where he will work to help MCP expand its Next Generation 9-1-1 business.

Chiaramonte joins MCP from a lead associate post with Booz Allen Hamilton, a management consulting firm.

At Booz Allen, he managed a portfolio of projects supporting the U.S. Department of Transportation‘s National 911 Program and Next Generation 9-1-1 Initiative, as well as the Federal Emergency Management Agency‘s disaster emergency communications division.

He was also responsible for managing resources, project scope, budget, quality, and client deliverables.

With MCP, the 23-year veteran of the public safety information technology community will initially support the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency with that organization’s 9-1-1 and Next Generation 9-1-1 strategy and planning.

“We couldn’t be more pleased to have John join our team. We’ve seen his dedication to his clients, recognize his expertise, and respect his passion for our public safety clients,” said Kevin Murray, MCP President & CEO.

Chiaramonte said he is excited to be getting back to his roots supporting local, state and regional 9-1-1 operations, helping them to plan, implement, and maintain advanced emergency communications systems and transitioning to Next Generation 9-1-1.

“As a teenager, I became involved with the local volunteer ambulance corps as a medical explorer,” said Chiaramonte.

Chiaramonte began his career as a volunteer first responder and dispatcher in the City of Rochester, NY, and he spent 12 years with Northrop Grumman managing public safety software implementations for large municipal government agencies.

“I’m happy to be joining a passionate group of public safety consultants, and look forward to lending my talents and expertise as we serve a dedicated and diverse first responder and 9-1-1 community.”
