GCS and Global Touchpoints have partnered to build a portfolio of integrated analytics and intelligence offerings intended to manage location-based information.
The companies intend for their integrated geoanalytics technology to help state and local government organizations process data in real time, GCS said Tuesday.
Rob Kinnear, director of strategic partnerships at GCS, said GCS aims to integrate its geospatial architecture into Global Touchpoint’s sensor-based information technology platform.
“Whether the data relates to public health, natural resource or energy consumption, geoanalytics allows the extracted business intelligence to be visualized in a geographic perspective – vital information for any government agency,” Kinnear added.
GCS builds big data platforms based on IBM‘s cognitive computing engine Watson to help businesses analyze evidence-based content, according to the release.
