Knowledge Consulting Group has won an $8,543,986 task order to supply a range of McAfee and BDNA security platforms for a Department of Homeland Security initiative aimed at safeguarding government networks.
This is the first order KCG has received under the potential $6 billion DHS Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation program, KCG said Friday.
“Continuous monitoring is an essential function to help agencies mitigate their cybersecurity risk,†said Dusty Wince, KCG founder and CEO.
“We look forward to working with the agencies to implement the McAfee and BDNA solutions, adding another layer of controls to their security architectures,” Wince added.
KCG has partnered with Govplace to deliver BDNA’s Normalize data management technology and McAfee’s VirusScan, ePolicy Orchestrator and Vulnerability Manager platforms to federal clients.
