A new Dun & Bradstreet study predicts India’s information technology sector will expand in 2014 amid growing interest in big data analytics, healthcare IT, and engineering, research and development outsourced services, Telegraph India reported Sunday.
According to the Telegraph, D&B forecasts an an onrushing demand for big data implementation for a deluge of unstructured information in the healthcare, retail, telecom and financial services sectors.
Domestic big data could grow into a $1 billion industry, up from $200 million in 2012, according to National Association of Software and Services Companies figures.
