Digital Management Inc. has delivered an enterprise mobility infrastructure to the U.S. Agriculture Department for monitoring devices and applications across the 29-unit agency.
DMI built the system under a potential five-year, $20 million contract, the company said Wednesday.
USDA’s system is comprised of a mobile device management, an app store and a data encryption platform and is designed to support more than 100,000 devices.
“We are looking forward to working with agencies within the USDA to roll out the solution on a large scale,” said Jay Sunny Bajaj, DMI founder and CEO.
DMI worked with the department create strategies and policies for bring-your-own-device initiatives.
The company also deployed an online portal with a plug-and-play service for USDA customers to access mobile offerings.
