Four companies have won task orders worth up to $60 million combined to develop tools and sensors for the Department of Homeland Security to scan its network for security risks, Federal Times reported Thursday.
Nicole Blake Johnson writes these awards fall under DHS’ $6 billion continuous monitoring program, which is handled by the General Services Administration.
Johnson lists the awardees for this round as including Hewlett-Packard, Northrop Grumman, Knowledge Consulting Group and Technica.
James Yeager, director of federal civilian sales at McAfee, told the publication nearly 33 departments and agencies will use the tools.
KCG will offer a McAfee product suite to DHS, according to Federal Times.
