Citrix and big data analytics provider Zettics have partnered to develop traffic management and analytics services offerings for mobile network customers.
Zettics’ analytics technology will be integrated into Citrix’s ByteMobile portfolio for operators to analyze data consumption on their networks and to respond to events based on that analysis, Citrix said Thursday.
Chris Koopmans, vice president and general manager of service provider platforms at Citrix, said the integration is aimed at helping grow data usage information coverage for operators.
The companies also intend for the partnership to build fresh product offerings in the first half of 2014.
