CH2M Hill and Fairhurst, a Scottish engineering consultancy firm, hosted an business enterprise event Jan. 16 in Glasgow, Scotland to focus on theoretical engineering.
The event was designed to have students of St. Roch’s Secondary School develop a transport scheme to access an imaginary island, CH2M Hill announced Wednesday.
During the “Dragon’s Den” style competition, students acted project managers, architects and health and safety experts and pitched their preferred ideas to engineers from both companies.
