CGI Group has been awarded a potential six-year, $200 million contract to provide information technology services to a Sweden-based government agency responsible for managing public transportation there.
The company will work to help Sweden’s Trafikverket agency create and run applications meant to handle enterprise workloads, CGIÂ said Thursday.
Bengt-Goran Kangas, CGI vice president for public sector work in Sweden, said the company aims to help Trafikverket streamline its IT operations through its partnership with CGI.
Altran, Knowit and Headlight will work with CGI to deliver the technical services covered under the contract.
The contract contains a four-year base period and two one-year options.
