Carahsoft has been awarded a $544,388 contract to help the U.S. Justice Department create a LinkedIn profile to find new talent with knowledge of federal criminal laws, the Washington Free Beacon reported Thursday.
Elizabeth Harrington writes DOJ’s Criminal Division awarded Carahsoft the contract on Dec. 24 to administer recruitment efforts for that division through the social network.
Carahsoft will build the DOJ a recruiter corporate profile with the goal of connecting the agency to approximately 250 million LinkedIn members, according to the report.
DOJ’s Criminal Division has between 500 and 1,000 workers and is followed by 906 LinkedIn users, the Free Beacon reports.
