Alion Science and Technology has opened its Charleston, S.C.-based office in an effort to help customers in the region connect with the company’s resources.
The company intends for the facility to house the company’s technical, configuration management, information assurance, cybersecurity, information and C5ISR (command, control, communications, computers, combat systems, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance) services, Alion said Thursday.
Greg Bryant, senior vice president and manager of Alion’s integration services group, said company personnel based in Charleston will work with the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command and Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic .
“We’re quickly expanding our role with SPAWAR and our presence in Charleston,†Bryant said.
Alion formally opened the site at 2442 Remount Road, Suite 200 in North Charleston during a ribbon cutting ceremony on Nov. 18, 2013.
