CNSI has been awarded a five-year task order to create and maintain cloud computing applications for the Maryland State Highway Authority.
The agency selected CNSI to build Salesforce-based cloud apps and support enterprise systems such as Microsoft Access, Net Technology and Power Builder, CNSI said Tuesday.
Under a separate five-year contract extension, the company will manage databases and provide programming services to the Maryland Port Administration.
Adnan Ahmed, president of CNSI, said the company aims to help both agencies use newer IT platforms under the contract awards.
CNSI has worked with both agencies for more than 10 years.
The company has previously built systems intended to help state port personnel comply with maritime security regulations.
