Boeing subsidiary Argon ST is working with Hilbert Technology to develop a context independent anomaly detection system for the U.S. Army.
Argon has been under contract to support the Joint Unified Multi-Capable Protection System project and has worked to develop a military sensor test bed, laboratory and data center over the past seven years, Hilbert said Nov. 13.
A subsystem of JUMPS, Hilbert’s CIAD tool is built to automatically analyze incoming intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance data for anomalies and then incorporate other available data sets to determine the threat level and disseminate information to recipients.
â€The integration of CIAD with JUMPS and other multi-sensor surveillance systems offers the possibility of greater operational autonomy, reduced operator workload and improved threat recognition in multiple domains,†said Fred Ilsemann, a program manager at Argon ST.
Fairfax, Va.-based Argon’s core business includes lifecycle engineering for technical systems, hardware, software and services.
