NTT DATA has agreed to purchase Optimal Solutions Integration Inc., anĀ SAP technology and services provider, for an undisclosed amount.
NTT intends for the acquisition to grow its portfolio of SAP-related consulting, deployment and application management services for medium to large enterprises in the private and public sectors, NTT said Thursday.
The transaction is expected to close early next year.
Optimal “brings business process expertise in industries such as consumer, retail, wholesale and distribution, mining, public Sector and manufacturing,” said Robb Rasmussen, NTT president for enterprise services.
Rasmussen added NTT aims to meet the growing demand for big data, mobility, analytics and cloud platforms in the SAP space through the purchase.
NTT says it generates more than $1 billion in annual revenues from SAP offerings.
