Harris Corp. has partnered with communications services company BT to run clinical portal services, aiming to help U.K. National Health Service care providers and public sector organizations to connect.
Harris intends to combine its clinical integration platform with BT“™s infrastructure and components in order to coordinate information stored in existing systems for health and social care providers in the UK, Harris said Wednesday.
“Our clinical integration platform, combined with BT“™s solutions, will drive health information interoperability across the continuum of care in the NHS,“ said Vishal Agrawal, president of Harris Healthcare Solutions.
Harris“™ platform features web-based portals for single-point access, a referral management component for monitoring patient care and a private messaging technology with an electronic health record system.
