AMERICAN SYSTEMS has been named to InformationWeek’s annual list of the top 500 innovative users of information technology in the country.
InformationWeek selected the company for its work to provide communications, mobile computing and connectivity technologies to government customers, AMERICAN SYSTEMS said Monday.
“Serving the federal government, we have a responsibility to meet agency missions and exceed expectations by driving groundbreaking programs and solutions,” said Brian Neely, chief information officer and chief technology officer.
The company says it has helped one government agency consolidate 44 locations in an effort to generate more than $25 million in annual savings.
AT&T, Boeing, Cisco, IBM, Intel, Microsoft, Raytheon and SAP have also made the top IT innovators list.
