FireEye has opened an office in Johannesburg, South Africa as the cybersecurity firm aims to grow its presence in the country by using a two-tier distribution model of distributors and resellers, ITWeb reported Wednesday.

Deon La Grange, FireEye Southern Africa country manager, told ITWeb the company has chosen Axis Group as a distributor of FireEye products.
New Order Industries and Datacentrix Cape Town joins the company’s resellers network.
La Grange will handle the company’s operations in Mauritius, Nigeria, Angola and Ghana.
ITWeb reports that FireEye placed fourth on Deloitte‘s list of the 500 fastest growing tech firms in the U.S. and has registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to become a publicly traded company.
