Adobe will use BMC Software products to help manage and automate processes as Adobe moves to a virtual cloud computing environment.
Gary Simpson, vice president for global infrastructure and operations at Adobe, said Adobe“™s transition has changed its support requirements, according to a Monday release .
“We look to BMC for the tools that we need to manage that and to become more of a service provider,“ Simpson said.
“We use many of the BMC tools that help us automate a lot of the day-to-day things that we do,“ he added.
Paulette Scheffer, Adobe senior director for infrastructure and service management, said the company uses BMC’s tools to provision capacity either in its private cloud or to go out in a public cloud.
BMC Software manages IT organizations“™ business services and applications across distributed, mainframe, virtual and cloud environments.
