ViON Corp. has introduced new services covering data protection and storage and server virtualization as part of efforts to expand offerings for customers.
ViON will use services and products from Quantum, IBM and Hitachi to implement the solutions-based business model intended to help customers store, manage, share and protect critical data, the company said April 16.
ViON will offer tape, virtual tape libraries and deduplication products from Quantum, converged platform from IBM PureFlex infrastructure for VMware and virtualized environments from Hitachi Unified Compute Platform for VMware.
Tom Frana, ViON president and CEO , said the company also plans to extend its services to other areas.
ViON will also provide out-of-the-box services and consulting to aid in product deployment.
