Level 3 Communications has added new voice features and other offerings to the company’s partner program for value-added resellers of the Microsoft Lync enterprise communications platform.
Level 3’s Solution Provider Partner Program has more than 20 Microsoft partners which include VARs, managed service providers, hardware and software suppliers and technology consultants, Level 3 said July 9.
Shaun Andrews, senior vice president of global voice services at Level 3, said the company aims to help customers design and implement information technology and telecommunication systems.
The company is offering a 10-day trial of its session initiation protocol voice service to assist Lync deployments and audio conferencing support for Lync trunking and emergency assistance.
It aims to expand nomadic E911 coverage for the Microsoft offering to more than 6,000 public-safety access points this year.
