Laurie Villano, senior vice president of cyber systems and solutions at Sotera Defense Solutions, has been appointed to the Fort Meade Alliance‘s board of directors.
The organization’s board comprises of 22 voting members from several businesses and industries across the region, the Fort Meade Alliance said Friday.
“We have an outstanding board full of dedicated professionals, who make Fort George G. Meade, military personnel and their families and the surrounding community a priority,“ said Deon Viergutz, alliance president.
The alliance also appointed Rosemary Budd, Lockheed Martin‘s director of strategic programs, to the board.
Villano and Budd’s appointments are effective as of July 1.
