Autonomic Resources has won a potential $1 billion contract to provide cloud services to the Interior Department for managing business transactions in the public and private sectors.
Booz Allen Hamilton and Red Hat developed systems that work to help DOI use Amazon and Microsoft applications under the 10-year contract vehicle, Autonomic said May 2.
As covered on GovCon Wire, Autonomic is one of 10 companies holding positions on the contract vehicle, worth up to $10 billion for all awardees.
DOI’s business center and acquisition services directorate selected Autonomic for the project.
“Autonomic is committed to ensuring secure cloud services exist amongst multiple service lines for federal agencies to utilize,“ said John Keese, Autonomic Resources“™ founder and CEO.
In December last year, the Autonomic Resources Cloud-Platform obtained an authority-to-operate certification under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program.
The company offers cloud services to federal agencies in the U.S. through arrangements with the General Services Administration as well as under government-wide acquisition contracts, IDIQs and business purchase agreements.
