TeleCommunication Systems has unveiled a new tool designed to help enterprises, schools and government agencies measure a person’s cybersecurity skills and match them with job requirements.
The PerformanScore learning and development software tool is designed with three measurement phases that intend to evaluate professional skills in a live environment, TCS said Monday.
Drew Morin, TCS senior vice president and chief technology officer, said the tool is also meant for clients to use in other learning and testing applications through a vendor-neutral or -specific model.
TCS intends to help users customize their rubric based on workforce competency and use the tool for cybersecurity training education.
The company’s cyber intelligence group offers customers training in the network penetration testing, ethical hacking, vulnerability analysis and strategic forensics fields.
