L-3 Communications has named Vincent Pagano, Jr., former partner at Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett LLP, as one of its board of directors.
Pagano brings 32 years of portfolio experience as a corporate lawyer at Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett where he led the firm“™s capital markets and public company advisory practices and represented L-3 and other public companies on M&As, financings, corporate governance and disclosure matters, L-3 said Tuesday.
“Vince“™s broad legal expertise in finance, governance and corporate strategy issues, combined with his knowledge of L-3“™s business and the defense industry, make him an outstanding addition to our board,“ said Michael Strianese, L-3“™s chairman, president and chief executive officer.
The appointment increases the board“™s composition to 11, 10 of which are independent directors.
Pagano recently served at the engineering council of Lehigh University, the board of directors of Cheniere Energy Partners GP LLC, Cheniere Energy Partners and Hovnanian Enterprises Inc.
