TASC‘s global systems division’s Tony Dahbura, technical director, told audiences at the 2013 AFCEA Spring Intelligence Symposium Engagement that defense and intelligence leaders can gain strategic edge from mobile devices and applications.
“Agile mobile applications can help decision makers, warfighters and other personnel access critical data or global situational awareness information securely, no matter their location,” Dahbura said, highlighting the need to improve security using these advances.
The company has developed mobile solutions that provide access to information systems and help distribute data in a secure environment, integrate multi-INT data into patterns and enable dashboard display and sharing.
“The potential for mobile apps is unlimited ““ and it doesn’t take long for technology to evolve from imagination to innovation,” said Dahbura.
TASC noted that integrated and secure mobile applications help leaders in the defense communities provide field troops with tools to enable them to make quick response and expand their reach.
Dahbura went on to urge the government to create policies that keep the integrity of data in real time, address certification concerns and handle lost or damaged devices.
