Terry Ryan serves as CEO of Arlington, Va-based defense contractor VT Group and officially joined the company on Feb. 4.

Before joining VT, he served as president and chief operating officer of ManTech International‘s emerging markets group.

He joined ManTech from Mercury Federal Systems, where he served as president and chairman.

Ryan has also served as president, CEO and director of Adroit Systems Inc.

Previously, he was senior vice president of strategic development at Science Applications International Corp., where he oversaw strategy and mergers and acquisitions.

Before joining SAIC, Ryan served as VP and director for SRA Internationalā€œ™s C4ISR center (command, control, communications, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance).

He has also served as the director of ISR (intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance) for the Office of the Secretary of Defense and deputy director of theĀ  Defense Airborne Reconnaissance Office.
