
McLean, Va.-based information security company TWD ESS Services has officially entered the market to provide physical security infrastructure products and services to customers in the public and private sectors.
Marlon Phillips, a 20-year telecommunications veteran, will serve as president of the new company, classified as a Small Business Administration 8(a) small disadvantaged business, the company said Monday.
TWD & Associates holds a minority stake in the company.
“Our goal is to provide high-level security products and services that mitigate risk and protect our customers’ valuable assets,” Phillips said.
Phillips previously started IT security and engineering firm The W.I.N.N. Group before joining TWD ESS.
Some of the new company’s security and authentication products include Homeland Security Presidential Directive-12 compliant identification systems, video analytics, metal detectors, cameras and closed circuit television systems.
The company’s areas of work also includes consulting, surveys, audits, risk assessments, security architecture, cyber security solutions, cloud computing implementation, site assessments and installations.
