AccentureLogoAccenture plans to invest more than $400 million in cloud computing as it looks to shift its public, private and hybrid offerings to the cloud, according to an Economic Times article.

The company will focus on cloud technologies, capabilities and training by 2015 to deploy cloud services from its chain of providers and combine its offerings with third party services, Accenture said in a statement.

“We are committed to moving our extensive portfolio of cloud offerings, broad ecosystem of alliance relationships and large global client base to the cloud in all forms — public, private and hybrid,” said Jack Sepple, Accenture Global senior managing director.

As part of its cloud strategy, the company has unveiled the Accenture Could Platform, which helps customers integrate and oversee cloud offerings across diverse service providers.

In addition, Accenture has also added public and virtual private cloud infrastructure, data decommissioning, software systems testing and big data analytics solutions to its services.
