General-dynamics-logoFixmo Inc. has integrated its patented device integrity verification system into a General Dynamics-made smartphone for defense and government clients.

The commercial-off-the-shelf smartphone is embedded with the Fixmo Sentinel Integrity Services system, which aims to detect and prevent mobile device tampering and policy violations and verify system integrity using state-change detection techniques, Fixmo said Monday.

“We are thrilled to be bringing this technology to the new ultra-secure smartphones from General Dynamics to ensure our joint customers can expand their use of mobile devices and applications without compromising system integrity or policy compliance,“ said Bruce Gilley, president at Fixmo US.

Fixmo and General Dynamics unveiled their joint offering this week at the 2013 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Governments worldwide use Fixmo’s services for mobile computing security under a cooperative research and development agreement between the U.S. National Security Agency and Fixmo.
