Mike Foley, a former vice president and operations manager with SPARTA, Inc., a Parsons company, has joined Accuvant as a director for business development with responsibility for the federal public sector.
Accuvant works to improve the cybersecurity postures of federal agencies against international threats and helps the government comply with related regulations.
The company was founded in 2002 and has helped address information security challenges for 20 federal agencies and 65 firms in the Fortune 100.
A 25-year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, Foley served the Missile Defense Agency between 2004 and 2008 before working with SPARTA for four years.
Foley graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with an undergraduate degree in physics and also earned a master’s degree in systems technology from the Naval Postgraduate School.
