Tien Wong serves as chairman and CEO of Lore Systems. Inc, a position he has held since 2008.
Herdon Va.- based Lore Systems was founded in 1995 and is a technology services firm specializing in managed datacenter hosting, cloud computing, information networking and infrastructures, IT staff augmentation and strategic IT consulting.
Wong also serves as the CEO of Opus 8 Inc, a Chevy Chase, Md. private investment and advisory firm that specializes in datacenter, cloud computing, cybersecurity, government IT, call centers, CRM, BPO, marketing services and new media investment.
A serial entrepreneur, Wong co-founded and served as CEO of CyberRep, Inc beginning in 1991 until it was acquired in 2003 by Affiliated Computer Services.
CyberRep had six customer interaction centers with more than 2,300 employees and $80 million in revenue when it was bought, making it one of the largest privately held CRM outsourcing companies in the world.
Today, the business unit is one of the largest call center operations in the world, with more than $850 million in revenue.
As a result of the company’s growth, Wong received the 2001 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for Greater Washington.
Prior to CyberRep, he worked for 10 years in commercial real estate finance and investments.
In addition to his two executive roles, Wong serves on the board of directors for a number of organizations including the Potomac Officers Club, the Technology Council of Maryland, the Association for Corporate Growth and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.
