
CGI Federal Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the CGI Group, has won a spot on a $7 billion contract vehicle to deliver technology services to the U.S. Army“™s Software Engineering Center tasked to assist in reconnaissance missions.
According to a company statement, the task orders under the five-year multiple-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity software and systems engineering services next generation contract includes software engineering, life cycle systems, and business and information technology support for the center.
“Through SSES NextGen, we look forward to delivering a range of technology and business-focused services and solutions, including supporting the implementation of the Army“™s common operating environment,“ said Barb Fast, Major General, U.S. Army (Ret.) and CGI vice president for army and defense intelligence programs.

The SEC operates under the life cycle management command of the Army“™s Communications-Electronics Command and provides command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) support for the Defense Department and the Army.
