Accenture has renewed an agreement to provide business support services to Australia“™s technical and further education institutions in Queensland for another two years.
Under the new contract with the Australian Department of Education, Training and Employment, Accenture will continue to provide a centralized, end-to-end student administration solution for about 250,000 enrollees in more than 80 TAFE campuses across the state, the company said Tuesday.
The business support services include business consulting, systems integration, application support and maintenance and information technology infrastructure support.
“This is one of the largest solutions of its kind in the southern hemisphere, and demonstrates the value of working with the department on a common goal to help meet the changing needs of TAFE students and education administrators across Queensland,“ said Paul Chapman, project manager at Accenture.
The employment and training department“™s Dean Segman added, “With the latest arrangement, both of our organizations will continue to focus on improving the student experience across the state.”
The contract renewal marks 10 years of cooperation between Accenture and the department, with the company supporting the TAFE Queensland Institutes’ student administrative system since 2002.
