SRA International has won a $17,444,077 contract to run an afloat network operations center and backup center for the U.S. Navy‘s Military Sealift Command, the Defense Department announced Friday.
According to the release, the Navy awarded the contract under Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-2 titled “Unusual and Compelling Urgency.“
The indefinite-delivery requirements contract also includes work for infrastructure support and afloat information technology training support services worldwide for the command’s N6 directorate for command, control, communications and computer systems.
SRA will receive firm-fixed-price task orders for engineering, technical and programmatic support services on the branch’s Afloat Operations Program.
Work will occur at worldwide locations through June 2013.
