Serco Group Plc has awarded communications firm Level 3 a five-year contract to provide Serco data, voice and video services through a single vendor.
Level 3 will also provide Serco with converged Internet Protocol network services, according to a Level 3 release.
Serco selected Level 3 for its differentiated service offerings, said Garry Fingland, chief information officer for the Serco Group.
Level 3 is aiming to help Serco’s employees communicate with each other via a global network, said James Heard, Level 3 regional president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Level 3 works with customers in nearly 45 countries, encompassing more than 450 markets, the company said.
