The value of the three task orders is just over $4.5 million.

“The ARINC team, which includes Cubic Global Tracking Solutions and Lunarline, will leverage its proven advanced technology and logistics system engineering expertise to enable the U.S. Army to move to a real-time, global in-transit visibility capability,“ said Jim Potter, director, system engineering & analysis.

Under task order II, ARINC will continue the joint capabilities technology demonstration through development, testing and certification of the mesh network protocol and sensor applications.

For task order III, ARINC will provide and assess a system to track and monitor the progress of ISO shipping containers going through the Army“™s shipping process from container yard to port of debarkation to final destination.

Task Order V requires the set up of a new Army mobility asset tracking system device management center in a virtual machine environment and expansion of fixed mesh gateway locations to other regions.

“We are proud to support the Defense Department“™s massive logistics requirements for deployed U.S. forces and drawdowns,“ Potter added.
