Lockheed Martin has finished updating the Pentagon’s mobile testbed for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance technologies, the company announced Oct. 17.
As part of a global enterprise network for real-time access to ISR data, the mobile testbed allows researchers and contractors to verify standards and mission utility.
The testbed integrates into the Distributed Common/Ground Surface System-Imagery environment.
DCGS Multi-Service Execution Team Office director Lt. Col. Mark Murray said the modernized DCGS testbed will allow simultaneous and multiple tests for new ISR technologies.
Murray added that the testbed has recently completed site acceptance testing at the Naval Air Weapons Station at China Lake, CA.
