Darin Powers

Darin Powers is vice president of DynCorp International‘s intelligence training and solutions business, where he oversees the company’s intelligence community- and special operations-focused business.

He has served in this position since January 2011 and joined the company in October 2009.

Prior to his current position, he served as vice president of operations and international development, where he led teams operating in more than 25 countries providing logistics, life support services and post-conflict capacity building.

Before joining DynCorp, he served as director of the operational support business area within Northrop Grumman“™s intelligence systems division, where he led a business unit that worked with customers performing round-the-clock intelligence operations.

During his 20-year Marine Corps career, Powers held command and staff positions through the battalion level.

He holds bachelor“™s degree in electrical engineering from Drexel University, a master“™s in space systems operations from the Naval Postgraduate School and is a certified Department of the Navy Acquisition/Program Management Professional.

Powers has also attended executive leadership education at the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business and the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business.
