ICF International has received two grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for technical support services in community development activities, the company announced Monday.
The Fairfax, Va.-based consulting and technology solutions provider will provide capacity-building services to HUD“™s Office of Community Planning and Development under the three-year grants.
ICF will help grantees and partners on state, county, and local levels develop skills and create systems for planning, financing and building communities, Senior Vice President Marsha Tonkovich said in a release.
The company has worked with the office for more than 25 years, she added.
Grantees and partners will receive assistance in examining capacities and technical assistance needs; where that assistance can help build skills, create procedures and systems and update program operations.
The company will develop integrated website and associated web tools; provide webinars, courses, and other self- and group-learning environments; and write tools and products for program design, implementation and management.
Work will also include updates to the office’s data collection and reporting systems for homelessness.
The company is helping the Environmental Protection Agency prepare reports to Congress on pollutants and assess risks to chemical exposure.
