Carahsoft Technology Corp. has formed a partnership to offer desktop virtualization hardware based in cloud computing on its General Services Administration schedule, the company announced Thursday.
EVGA will provide its zero client technology to agencies through Carahsoft’s GSA Schedule No. GS-35F-0119Y.
EVGA will also work with Carahsoft’s team and its other partners to provide agencies with virtual desktop infrastructure, said Joe Darwin, EVGA’s director for technical marketing.
Federal IT departments will manage, update and set permissions from any location, Carahsoft said.
All of EVGA’s zero client units use less than 15 watts of power, according to Carahsoft.
Adobe will provide agencies a new version of its Connect web conferencing software through Carahsoft’s GSA schedule.
