TASC Inc. has won $9,600,001 contract to continue providing support for the Air Force’s space control architecture development program, the Defense Department announced Monday.
The company’s services will support offensive and defensive counterspace operations, space situational awareness and command and control mission areas, the Pentagon said.
Work under the cost-plus-fixed-fee and level of effort modification contract will occur in El Segundo, Calif. and the Pentagon expects work to finish by May 1, 2013.
The Space and Missile System Center at Los Angeles Air Force Base is the contracting activity.
Booz Allen Hamilton is contracted to help the Air Force meet requirements for launch and test range systems, also supporting the Space and Missile System Center in El Segundo.
