Carahsoft Technology Corp. and Acquia have formed a partnership to build an open source government publishing platform.
In a joint statement, the companies said they will work with eight other firms to help deliver Drupal one technology to the federal government.
The partnership program will help the government operate and deploy education websites, said Natalie Gregory, Carahsoft“™s open source practice vice president.

Federal agencies and organizations will receive educational training and support for Drupal.
Drupal is an open source content management platform used to build community websites and serves as a core social publishing system for various websites and applications.
Aquia and Carahsoft will also conduct a Drupal information session May 2, 2013 in Washington.
