Altegrity subsidiary Kroll Ontrack announced Wednesday it has released a new data recovery service for personal Apple devices, Alegrity announced Wednesday.
The service uses tools to resolve logical and physical failures or operating system malfunctions for Apple products such as the iPhone, iPad and the touchscreen iPod.
It categorizes logical failures as deleted files, corrupt software, misplaced passwords and operating system upgrade issues.
Over the last year, the subsidiary experienced a 350 percent increase in requests for data recoveries for Apple products throughout the last year.
Recovery for photos and videos rank first among the requests while notes and text messages were second.
In early January, Altegrity named Dean Hager president and CEO of Kroll.
