Serco Inc. won a $19 million Navy contract to provide logistics support for ship and shore activities to the Naval Sea Systems Command.
The Reston, Va.-based contractor said Wednesday the contract includes nine-month base period and four option years.
The company will provide program management, information technology logistics, policy development procurement, technical research, configuration management outfitting and warehousing support services.
The company built a logistics IT system for the Navy in-house a contract awarded in 2002.
Serco will use the same team to perform work under this contract at the Integrated Undersea Surveillance System operations support center in Virginia Beach, Va.
Serco also supports the Navy Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command with engineering and testing services for C4I programs a $34 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
