
SAIC Inc. and The Security Innovation Network are partnering to host a community cybersecurity application development event.
The McLean, Va.-based contractor said Wednesday the Apps for Security event will take place Thursday at the Computer History Museum in Silicon Valley, Ca.
The company said anyone interested in cybersecurity can collaborate in the development of new security applications.
Participants are also encouraged to showcase prototypes or concepts they have created.
The event will run directly after the SINET 6th Annual IT Security Entrepreneurs“™ Forum 2012, held Tuesday and Wednesday at Stanford University.
The company said its CloudShield Technologies subsidiary will provide virtual machines and developers’ toolkits.
